Set of 9 Polished Petrified Wood Slices – 9–20 cm – Dipterocarpus – Java, Indonesia (Miocene) - Stands Not Included

Description:
An extensive collection set of nine polished petrified wood slices (Dipterocarpus sp.) sourced from Java, Indonesia. Dating back to the Miocene epoch (approx. 5 to 23 million years ago), this set offers a wide variety of heartwood patterns, contrasting obsidian-black mineral pockets, and soft earth-tone growth rings.

Visual & Aesthetic Highlights:
* Diverse Visual Variety: Includes slices featuring dramatic jet-black carbon centers framed by light amber borders, alongside complete concentric growth-ring patterns in sandy tan, grey, and ochre.
* High-Gloss Polish: Each piece is polished on its primary cut face to bring out natural wood cell structures, subtle mineral fills, and grain details.
* Natural Bark Borders: Every slice retains its authentic, rough-scalloped outer bark perimeter, emphasizing its fossilized organic origins.
* Versatile Collection Set: Ranging from 9 cm to 20 cm in size, this 9-piece lot is ideal for retail resale, mineral study collections, coaster crafting, or decorative display sets.
