• Issue: "Sitzende Helvetia" / Seated Helvetia (with sharp central embossing / rilievo a secco)

• Face Value: 1 Franco (1 Fr.) – The highest and most sought-after denomination of the entire series.

Expertise & Authenticity:
Accompanied by an original, historical photographic certificate issued by the renowned Raybaudi Experts in Rome (dated 15.09.1981), signed by M. & L. Raybaudi.
The certificate states that the stamp is 100% original, has an authentic cancellation, and is in a good state of preservation.
The stamp is also signed by the experts on the reverse.

Condition Report:
• Front: Excellent visual appearance. The central embossed figure of Helvetia stands out sharply and remains entirely untouched by the cancellation, which is cleanly located on the lower left.
• Margins: Full and distinct margins all around the stamp, highly desirable and difficult to find for this imperforate high-value issue.
• Reverse: Sound paper showcasing the beautiful black silk security thread, the original expert pencil signature, and an old hinge remnant at the top as shown in photos.

An exceptional exhibition-quality showpiece and a cornerstone for any advanced collection of Switzerland and European classics.
