Rare and prestigious travel/laboratory compound microscope entirely made of polished brass, produced by the renowned Italian manufacturer F. Koristka (Milan) between 1890 and 1895. Founded by Francesco Koristka in 1881, the company was the most important excellence in Italian scientific optics, famous for its high-quality lenses and its historical partnership with Ernst Abbe (Zeiss).

• Body & Stand: Brass body signed with the original engraving "F. KORISTKA MILANO". The instrument is dismountable and fits perfectly into its dedicated wood and velvet compartments. Serial/inventory number 3276 stamped on the wood. Adjustable reflector mirror and condenser included.
• Optics & Eyepieces: Set of 3 original interchangeable eyepieces with engraved magnifications (2x, 4x, and 12x).
• Objective Case: Original black leatherette and purple velvet box marked "F. Koristka Milano", containing 3 brass objectives hand-numbered on the wooden block, complete with their 3 black threaded protective caps.
