An early and rare Dutch Provincial Silver Rijksdaalder (popularly referred to as the "Halve Man" or half-length bust type), struck by the Province of Zeeland in 1607. Minted to the national coinage standard of the Dutch Republic at a fineness of 0.873 silver with a standard weight of 28.25 grams.

This desirable early issue was struck at the provincial mint in Middelburg under mintmaster Melchior Wijntgens (active 1588–1612), designated by the tower (burcht) mintmark on the obverse. Early dates from the first decade of the 17th century (such as 1606 and 1607) are significantly scarcer than the later issues from the 1620s through 1650s.

Design:
* Obverse: Armored and laureate half-length bust facing right (traditionally identified as Prince William of Orange), holding a sword over his right shoulder and supporting the crowned coat of arms of Zeeland with his left. Legend: MO. ARG. PRO. CONFOE. BELG. ZEL. with the tower mintmark.
* Reverse: Crowned coat of arms of the States-General flanked by the divided date 16 - 07. Legend: CONCORDIA. RES. PARVAE. CRESCVNT..
