The 1982 harvest produced ripe, full-bodied wines across the Douro Valley, leading select historic houses to declare it as a Vintage Port year. Following traditional regulations, the wine was aged in wood for two years before bottling to allow for long-term maturation in bottle.

Now over 40 years old, this 1982 Vintage Port exhibits a deep brick-garnet color with mahogany hues. The nose displays mature tertiary aromas of dried dark plums, raisins, sweet tobacco, cocoa powder, cedarwood, and gentle baking spices, balanced on the palate by soft, integrated tannins and a warm, velvety finish.
