这件非同寻常、宏伟的日本佛教絲綢掛軸（kakejiku）是一幅完整完成的朝圣卷轴（Mangan Goshuin-jiku），代表历史悠久的Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage（Shikoku Henro），专为独家拍卖 Private collection: Four Realms of the Japanese Scrolls（Edo to Heisei）而特别策划。横跨Shikoku岛超过1,200公里的精神之路，这场神圣的朝圣沿着弘法大师（Kōbō Daishi，Kūkai，774–835）的足迹走来，他是真言密教的受人敬仰的创始人。
