Description

Elegant Meissen porcelain coffee pot with original lid, decorated in the refined “Indisch Grün” / Indian Green style.

The piece features delicate hand-painted green floral and foliate motifs on a white porcelain ground, complemented by fine gilded details. The lid is decorated with a green and gold geometric border and features a sculpted green floral bud and leaf finial. The handle and spout are also enhanced with elaborate gilt decoration.

The underside bears the characteristic underglaze blue crossed swords mark, together with additional impressed and painted production marks.

The coffee pot is accompanied by its original matching lid.

Condition: Good to very good vintage condition. The porcelain is intact with no visible cracks or restoration observed in the photographs. Minor signs of age and use may be present, particularly to the gilding, consistent with its age.
