This sculptural object, a true manifesto of Brutalist aesthetics, testifies to the masterful metalwork that brought the artist international acclaim.

This piece embodies Marshall's signature contrast: the structural roughness of the black aluminum (the cage) juxtaposed with the warm, organic, and irregular finish of the molten brass at the top. The interplay between the rigid geometry of the structure and the artistic malleability of the top creates a captivating visual dynamic.

Its unique character, making this piece virtually impossible to find, stems from its distinctly handcrafted nature. Each brass casting is done by hand, resulting in a unique relief and texture at the top. This is a piece of character, far removed from standardized production, which commands attention with its quality of finish and authenticity.
