卖家的描述
“Taking the same trip ten times can feel repetitive, but doing it a hundred times can give you a renewed sensitivity and joy for every “little” thing along the way.” -Arne Naess
Nordmarka is the dense forest region surrounding Oslo. This new publication explores Leardini's fascination with this part of the world. Massimo Leardini has used this region as a source of inspiration and research in his work for many years, especially during the summer season.
Presented as a limited-edition artist's book, Nordmarka is a visual poem, beautifully printed in two-tone offset in an edition of 500 copies. The photographs in this book were taken between 2019 and 2023.
The book contains some wisdom from philosopher Arne Næss.
“During my hikes, I followed paths from north to south and west to east, passing through both forests and lakes. My photographic journey captures details of both untouched nature and nature affected by people. The people of Nordmarka respect the forest, and the forest respects the people. It is a unique relationship of give and take. My aim is to evoke among viewers a sense of reverence, stillness, and tranquility found in the natural world, while simultaneously promoting awareness of the need to preserve and protect it.”
