This is a distinctive Japanese Bizen ware pottery vase by Kimura Ichiyo (木村一陽) of Ichiyo Kiln (一陽窯), as identified in the accompanying Japanese information leaflet.

The vase features a tall, sculptural profile, a tapered body with a narrow waist, and a broad, irregularly shaped rim. Its earthy grey-brown surface displays horizontal throwing marks and natural variations in colour and texture.

Its understated appearance and organic form reflect the character of traditional Bizen ware, making it an appealing piece for collectors of Japanese pottery and ceramics.

This lot includes a wooden storage box and an accompanying Japanese information leaflet.
