32. ACCA AU, Japan Edo Period - Kan'ei Tsuho, Small Character Reverse 'Kyu', Pattern Coin
This Kan'ei Tsuho pattern coin is extremely beautiful, graded AU, and is a rare example. Its design features the small character reverse 'Kyu'. The Kan'ei Tsuho series had complex designs and was Japan's standard coinage created to compete with foreign currency, having gone through many historical twists and turns. Ancient Japanese coins are characterized by keeping the same name while changing the design, making them relatively difficult to identify among collectors. This particular coin is very old but exceptionally well-preserved, representing a rare design and master coin. Coins this beautiful are extremely rare on the market, making it a top-grade collectible in copper coins and highly worthy of collecting — collectors should not miss it.
