卖家的描述
此青花茶葫芦 originate from Jingdezhen, China, this blue-and-white tea caddy dates to the Jiaqing or Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. Standing approximately 12 cm tall with a belly width of about 10 cm, its compact, rounded form fits comfortably in the palm of one’s hand—a refined vessel used for storing tea during the mid-Qing era.
The caddy is decorated with underglaze blue motifs, executed using the domestic cobalt pigment characteristic of the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods. The blue hue is subdued and elegant—soft, restrained, and possessing that gentle, mellow quality unique to this era. The brushwork reflects the typical style of mid-Qing folk kilns: natural, expressive, and unforced. The white glaze carries a subtle greenish tint; it is lustrous and smooth, bearing a natural patina and clear traces of age. The ceramic body is dense and well-compacted, with a foot-rim crafted in a manner consistent with the Jiaqing–Daoguang period, ensuring the piece sits firmly and stably.
Its exquisite size makes it ideal for storing small quantities of loose-leaf tea or scented tea, effectively preserving their aroma. It is also perfectly suited for display on a tea table, a scholar’s desk, or a curio shelf. As a functional piece of mid-Qing blue-and-white porcelain, it is an excellent acquisition for collectors of Oriental ceramics, tea culture enthusiasts, or those who appreciate the refined, classical aesthetic of traditional Chinese decor.
The photographs depict the actual item; please note that slight color variations may occur depending on the lighting conditions. As an antique, the piece bears natural signs of aging—please refer to the images for its condition. By placing a bid, the buyer accepts the item in its current state; returns or exchanges based on differing interpretations of the object’s age will not be accepted.
It will be carefully packaged and shipped via an express service with a tracking number.
