An elegant vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer Automatic, dating from 1963, presented in a classic steel-and-gold case.
The watch is powered by the highly regarded automatic Omega calibre 561.
The original silver-tone dial features applied gold baton hour markers with onyx inserts, matching gold-tone hands, a central seconds hand, and a framed date window at 3 o’clock. The dial is correctly signed:

The case back features the characteristic Constellation observatory medallion. The inside is correctly marked Omega Watch Co., Fab. Suisse, Swiss Made, with case reference 168.004-63

Condition

This beautiful vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer is presented in excellent overall condition.

The original dial remains in its authentic, unrestored condition, displaying a natural patina developed over the decades. This subtle ageing is particularly noticeable in close-up photographs but is almost invisible during normal everyday wear, allowing the dial to retain its elegant and attractive appearance.

The case is in superb condition, with a beautiful polished finish and an exceptionally well-preserved appearance. It looks almost like new, with only minimal signs of previous use.

The watch is fitted with a brand-new, high-quality brown leather strap, perfectly complementing its classic gold-tone case and champagne dial.
