一幅正教派手绘的圣不受报酬治愈者科斯马斯与达迈安的圣像——天上的疗愈者和奇迹行者，健康与慈悲的守护者。

An Orthodox, hand-painted icon of the Holy Unmercenary Healers Cosmas and Damian—celestial healers and wonderworkers, patrons of health and compassion.

The icon of the Holy Brothers Cosmas and Damian is one of the most revered in Orthodox Christianity.
The holy brothers are known as "unmercenaries" (those who do not seek payment) and wonderworkers; they dedicated their lives to healing the sick, aiding those who suffer, and serving God selflessly.
According to Christian tradition, the two brothers possessed an extraordinary gift for curing various ailments, yet they never accepted any payment for their assistance. It is for this reason they are known as "unmercenaries"—saints who performed good deeds without seeking any material gain.

In iconography, the two brothers are depicted together, dressed in traditional attire that symbolizes their spiritual purity, nobility, and devotion.
They hold small vessels containing healing remedies, as well as medical instruments—symbols of their healing ministry.
Their calm, spiritually radiant faces exude compassion, kindness, and unwavering faith.
The brothers are considered the heavenly patrons of physicians, healers, medical professionals, and all those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
The icon is painted on aged wood and dates back to the 20th century.
Its condition is good, considering the age of the piece.
Origin: Russia.
