艺术家简介

安藤忠雄生于1941年9月13日，出生于大阪。作为建筑领域的自学成才者，他于1969年在大阪创立自己的工作室。他以强调光、风与空间的极简主义混凝土建筑而闻名。代表作包括 Sumiyoshi 的 Row House（1976，Azuma House）和 Church of the Light（1989）。国际项目包括塞维利亚世博会1992年的日本馆以及巴黎的 UNESCO Meditation Space。他于1995年获得普利兹克建筑奖，1996年获 Praemium Imperiale，1997年获 RIBA 皇家金质奖章，2002年获 AIA 金质奖。1991年在纽约现代艺术博物馆（MoMA）举行个人展，1993年在蓬皮杜中心举行个人展。自2003年起，担任东京大学名誉教授。
