卖家的描述
Ceremonial Spoon “ Nura Dikun”
Atoni people, Timor, Indonesia, 20th century.
Carved buffalo horn spoon with an oval bowl and an elongated openwork handle featuring tiers of paired, stylised birds. Incised feather details and geometric bands enrich the design, which terminates in a slender point. Deep brown patina with areas of surface wear.
Our collection features authentic art objects, collectibles and from Indonesia and other Asian countries, including China, Japan, Myanmar (Burma), and Thailand. These pieces come from our family’s private collection, including treasures inherited through generations.
We are now downsizing and offering these cherished objects to new owners who will appreciate them. We are private collectors, not antique dealers, and will gladly share as much information as we can about each piece and its history.
