Florentin Brunz Gaborieau

Excellent 19th century Westerwald potter. The earthenware pot was designed and made by Reinhold Hanke and was stamped with number 604. This is confirmed in a catalogue by Hanke, published in the second half of the 19th century.
The pot depicts several historic figures and this genre is refered to as 'Historismus'. The figures are surrounded by beautiful Renaissance decoration and motives. The pot was likely designed for the English market. As such this makes the pot a very interesting historic object aswell.

- Excellent state
- Bright Cobalt blue color
