ovelty - 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II 收音机

vintage novelty transistor radio in the shape of a 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom roadster, a decorative display piece from the Showa era in Japan. Brushed silver body with black wings and soft top, gold-coloured grille, bumpers and lamps, red interior, white-wall spoked wheels; the bumper plates read 1931. The speaker grille and the 9 V battery compartment are on the underside.

Measurements: about 30 cm long, about 9 cm high.

Condition: from long-term home storage, more than 50 years old according to the previous owner, with age wear, tarnish and dust on the finish and some surface marks. One headlamp lens is missing (see photographs). The radio has NOT been tested because no battery was available; it is sold as a display piece. No box.
