The central composition depicts the Pecherskaya Mother of God, enthroned with the Christ Child seated upon her lap. Above, in the upper, are the Archangels Michael (left) and Gabriel (right), holding their traditional attributes.

On either side of the throne stand the great monastic saints associated with the Kiev Pechersk Lavra: St. Anthony of the Caves (left) and St. Theodosius of the Caves (right), holding scrolls. Below the throne, St. Mary of Bethany (left) and St. Martha of Bethany (right), sisters of St. Lazarus and devoted followers of Christ, are depicted kneeling in reverence and prayer before the Mother of God and the Christ Child.

在宝座两侧站立着与基辅修道院相关的两位伟大修道圣人：洞穴中的圣安东尼（左）和洞穴中的圣托德修斯（右），手持卷轴。宝座下方，伯大尼的圣马利亚（左）和伯大尼的圣马大（右），是拉撒路的姐妹、基督虔诚的门徒，跪在圣母与圣婴前，虔诚地敬礼与祈祷。

The side borders are adorned with four additional full-length saints, two on each side. The richly coloured garments, golden haloes and ornate throne create a solemn and harmonious composition, reflecting the spiritual tradition and devotional heritage of the renowned Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

两侧边框饰以另外四位全身圣人，各两位。色彩绚丽的袍服、金色光环和华美的宝座共同营造出庄重和谐的画面，体现了知名基辅修道院修道传统与虔信遗产。
