A fantastic piece of history. The Hudson police whistle was used by the English metropolitan police force from 1883 and revolutionised the way the police went about their duties.
This is a fine example of a Hudson & Co police whistle used from around 1953 and it comes complete with a genuine set of buttons from a uniform worn around the same time and most likely from the same police officer who owned the whistle.
An excellent collectors piece.
