A rare William IV Tobacco box. It’s rare being lead lined and with the original lead lid making the box exceptionally heavy adding to the exclusiveness. It’s made from a lovely, flamed mahogany and everything is in pretty good shape. A funky sarcophagus shape with two brass handles on the side. Two lids inside, the heavy lead lid would have sat on top of the tobacco and the wooden one to seal everything in and make it look pretty! Dates to circa 1830 and even comes with a key!
