These are completely natural fossil eggs without any coloring or restoration. They date from the Cretaceous, 72.1-83.6 million years ago. They still have shell covering around surface. Elongated dinosaur egg is specific of oviraptor egg.

Because the eggshell also contains pigments, proteins and mineral complexes, it appears black.
Oviraptor has a double fallopian tube structure, so they lay two eggs at a time, which is not seen in modern animals.
