A pair of big Chinese blue and white porcelain bowls. China, Qing dynasty, Daoguang (1820-1850, 道光) period. Bowls decorated to the exterior with floral and geometrical motives. Interior with a single flower or plant within double ring in the center and band with geometrical motives under the edge. Both inscribed to bases with a bat, other with underglaze blue Daoguang six-character marks. Dimensions: diameter - 14,5 / 14,3 cm; height - 6,7 / 6,5 cm. Weight – 238 / 220 g. Provenance: private collection, Lyon, France. Conditions report: one bowl with a small chip to the top-rim and anchor-shaped hailine to the wall. Other bolw with a single frit to the top-rim only.
