Shin Ogasawara

Shin Ogasawara works with both materials and space, guided by a bodily sense of spatial awareness. Through this ongoing, sensory-driven engagement, the viewer is also invited to perceive and participate in the space as part of the work. By layering clay and responding to the emerging shapes and textures, actions such as pressing or gouging become new impulses that drive the process forward. Through this repeated cycle, the work gradually takes form outside the realm of predetermined harmony.
