Lola Gomez

Meet Lola Gómez, a painter for whom colour has always been closer to instinct than to choice. Born in Spain and trained as an architect and interior designer in London, she carries that eye for space and composition into every canvas, though it's music, not blueprints, that now guides her hand. Each painting begins as free improvisation with a song, and takes its title once the two have finished their conversation. Lola grew up in a family of painters, studied at Sotheby's Institute of Art, and now paints from her studio in Central Europe, sharing the process as it happens on Instagram (lolagomez.art).
