两只杯子采用“Pulegoso”工艺制作，并安装在金属悬架上。名为“pulegoso”的玻璃采用一种在二十年代广泛使用的方法，在熔融玻璃中加入汽油以使其沸腾。玻璃质地内部有无数形状不规则的小气泡，故意降低了它的透明度。
