信封背面有两枚阿尔萨斯-洛林邮资欠费邮票（10c 与 20c），盖压并用于指示待征收的邮资。10c 面值被反向贴用，这是在应收邮件中常见的无害处理变型。

Routing may be shown via a red circular “STRASBOURG À PARIS” transit marking and a boxed PD marking, illustrating the Franco-German-British accounting system in use during the transitional postal period following the annexation of Alsace-Lorraine. Date seems to be ‘29 Mai’ (1871) on red stamp on back.
