Description:
An antique Ko-Hagi (old Hagi ware) flat tea bowl dating from an earlier period. The potter’s seal on the base has become faint due to kiln firing and age, making it difficult to decipher; however, it is presumed to be an exceptional work by a noted studio potter.

The refined and elegant hirachawan (flat tea bowl) form conveys a cool and refreshing presence, particularly suited for spring and summer tea gatherings. The condition is excellent, with no chips or cracks. As a fully handmade work, it is entirely unique, embodying the individuality and subtle irregularities valued in traditional Japanese ceramics.
