Elegant original Thonet chair in bentwood, a genuine example of early 20th-century Central European design. This model perfectly reflects Thonet’s production philosophy, renowned for its innovative steam-bent wood technique, allowing for fluid lines, visual lightness, and remarkable structural strength.

The frame is crafted from solid steam-bent wood, featuring a tall, slender backrest composed of thin vertical slats, a distinctive Thonet design element. The front and rear legs are connected by gracefully curved stretchers, ensuring both stability and aesthetic balance. The seat is made of original woven Vienna straw cane, with a regular pattern and well-preserved surface.
