Rare, large‑scale pendant lamp by Glashütte Limburg from the Mid‑Century Modern era. The voluminous shade is made of thick, heavy structured glass in smoky brown/topaz brown, a characteristic Limburg colour tone from the 1960s and 1970s. The surface features the typical lens‑shaped indentations and small trapped air bubbles, creating a striking light effect when illuminated.

As is characteristic for Limburg’s larger models, the heavy glass shade is securely attached to the solid brass crown using a three‑point set‑screw mounting system. This construction is a hallmark of Glashütte Limburg and was specifically designed for their substantial, multi‑kilogram structured‑glass shades.
