An Eye-catching Mosa Maastricht Art Deco Pitcher

This is a beautiful example of Dutch Art Deco pottery. Manufactured by Mosa Maastricht in the Netherlands, it dates back to the interwar period, specifically the 1920s or 1930s. The pitcher is crafted from earthenware, commonly known as plateel. It features a stunning polychrome glaze application, characteristic of the period.

The primary colours are a matte black base complemented by vibrant red and orange detailing. The decoration is a stylish spritzdecor with applied glazes using an innovative spraying technique.
