Vintage Italian folding school desk, dating from the 1960s or 1970s. This practical piece of furniture was particularly popular in Italian design of the period and is often associated with the Gico Toys brand.

Structure: Chrome-plated metal tube frame that allows it to be completely folded for easy storage.
Materials: The worktop is made of formica (plastic-coated wood), and the seat and backrest are upholstered in skai (faux leather), typically in a bright red color.
Function: The worktop is reversible and has the alphabet or numbers on the other side for learning. A black plastic pen holder is also included on the edge of the tabletop.
