Vintage sterling silver cigarette case with a hand-hammered (planished) finish and clean rectangular form, characteristic of Mid-Century Modern British silver design. The interior retains the original elastic holders.
Fully hallmarked with British marks: lion passant for sterling silver (.925), leopard’s head for the London assay office, date letter E for 1960, and maker’s mark J&C, attributed to Joseph & Richard Griffin Ltd.

Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. A classic example of mid-20th-century British silver craftsmanship.
