Karel Otto Hrubý (1916, Vienna – 1998, Senotín) was a Czech photographer, teacher and theoretician of photography. In his youth he worked as a musician. At the end of his life, he devoted himself to painting. He was an important figure in contemporary Czech photography, a teacher, curator and reviewer of exhibitions, and author of photography literature.
