出生于巴黎，1925年，是波兰父母的独生子。经过出色的学业后，他渴望成为摄影师的心愿愈发强烈，成为1955年至1985年ELLE杂志不可或缺的摄影师之一，怀着用照片见证被摄者真实本性、他们的怪癖与喜悦的目标……从不拍摄狗仔照片，只拍摄被摄者同意的照片。

Born in Paris in 1925, Henri Elwing was the only son of Polish parents. After completing his education with outstanding brilliancy, his desire to be a photographer outweighed everything and he became one of ELLE Magazine’s greatest photographers from 1955 to 1985, nurturing the ambition of taking photos which expressed a photographed person’s true self, their idiosyncrasies, their joys… never any paparazzi shots, only ever pictures his subjects agreed to.
