Lot of 3 Vintage Japanese Deba Knives – Yoshihisa Kiya / Sakumitsu Saku / Kikuichimonji – Traditional Japanese Fish Butcher Knives

This lot consists of three authentic vintage Japanese Deba knives, traditional heavy kitchen knives designed for filleting fish and preparing seafood. Deba knives are an essential tool in professional Japanese kitchens, valued for their thick spine, strong edge geometry, and excellent durability.

All three knives are signed blades from well-known Japanese makers.

菊一文字 (Kikuichimonji) – the handle also bears a branded Kikuichimonji mark.

Kiya and Kikuichimonji are particularly respected historic Japanese knife brands with long traditions in professional culinary tools.

The knives feature traditional Japanese wa-handles (wooden handles) and single-bevel blades typical of professional fish-processing knives used in Japan.

These knives show clear signs of age and long use, giving them a strong vintage character.

Condition

These are vintage used knives and show significant signs of age and use, including:
