賣家描述
凯尔特青铜 fibula(2 件)。状况极佳。
A fibula (Latin for "clasp") is a metal fastener, brooch, or pin used in ancient times to fasten cloaks, tunics, and other clothing. It served both a practical and decorative function, often being decorated with enamel, precious stones, or embossing.
Typically, it consisted of a pin, a body (bow), and a receptacle for the pin, working on the principle of a safety pin.
Unlike a modern brooch, a fibula was necessary for securing items of clothing, especially cloaks, to the shoulder.
Period from the 3rd to the 1st centuries BC
Excellent condition! The needles and springs are intact. The metal is strong. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.100% original.Look at many photos for your own impression.
Material: Bronze.
Size: 46 (45) х 21 (16) mm.
Total weight: 13.83 grams.
The item was purchased in 2015 in Barcelona, Spain from G.A. as part of a private Spanish collection dating back to the 1980s.
