Carved Cherub Pedestal Table – Renaissance / Baroque Revival Style – 20th Century

Elegant decorative pedestal table crafted in carved wood, featuring a striking sculptural base depicting two finely carved cherubs supporting the tabletop. The overall design reflects the aesthetic of Italian Renaissance and Baroque revival furniture, characterized by rich ornamentation and dynamic sculptural elements.

The central structure is conceived as a three-dimensional sculpture: the cherubs appear in a lively composition emerging from a base decorated with scrolling foliage and acanthus-style motifs, typical of classical decorative traditions.

The tabletop is rectangular with rounded corners, finished with a double molded edge that enhances the elegance of the piece. The warm walnut-toned finish highlights the natural wood grain and emphasizes the depth of the carving.

The lower base is shaped and stable, with a softly curved profile that echoes the decorative lines of the sculpted column.
