Vintage lithographed advertising tin for Eduscho coffee, produced in Bremen, Germany, circa 1920–1930.

The decorative box features elegant Art Deco ornamentation with oriental-inspired medallions depicting floral vases, animals and a stylised figure. Such motifs were commonly used in early coffee advertising to evoke the exotic origins of imported coffee.

Front inscription:
“Eduscho schafft zu jeder Zeit Behagen und Gemütlichkeit.”

The underside bears the original embossed mark:

Eduard Schopf Bremen

Manufactured from lithographed steel with embossed decorative borders and a hinged lid. Advertising tins of this type were used by coffee merchants for storage and retail presentation in the early 20th century.

Today they are appreciated by collectors of vintage advertising, coffee memorabilia and Art Deco design.

Condition:
Authentic age patina and wear consistent with age. Structurally stable with original lid and hinge.
