DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION
A fine Turkana wooden spoon distinguished by its elegant elongated proportions, generous bowl and remarkable blond patina. Functional in origin, the piece also stands out for the purity of its line and its strikingly modern visual balance.
一件精美的土尔卡纳木勺，以其优雅的修长比例、宽大的碗与显著的金黄光泽而著称。其起源为实用性，同时其线条的纯净与极具现代感的视觉平衡也使其格外突出。

FORM AND PRESENCE
This example is especially appealing for the relationship between the long, restrained handle and the ample rounded bowl. The handle broadens slightly toward the end and is subtly shaped for grip, giving the object a very natural and almost ergonomic quality. The bowl has a soft, full volume that reinforces the sculptural presence of the piece.

SURFACE AND PATINA
The wood has developed a beautiful warm blond patina, with darker tonal variation in the recessed areas and wear consistent with long use and handling. The surface is lively and attractive throughout, giving the spoon both authenticity and visual warmth.
