Elegante mobile antico a due ante, realizzato in pregiata essenza lignea con raffinata decorazione a intarsio floreale, riconducibile allo stile Luigi XV, Francia, fine XIX – inizi XX secolo.

Il mobile presenta una linea mossa e sinuosa, tipica del gusto rocaille, con fronte bombato e fianchi leggermente curvi. L’intera superficie è impreziosita da una ricca marqueterie con motivi floreali policromi racchiusi in riserve sagomate, eseguiti con grande perizia artigianale. Il piano superiore segue il profilo sagomato del corpo e presenta un elegante disegno intarsiato centrale.

Le ante frontali sono decorate con composizioni floreali finemente realizzate, incorniciate da motivi vegetali stilizzati. Anche i fianchi presentano pannelli intarsiati analoghi, a conferma di una lavorazione accurata e di alto livello qualitativo.

Il mobile è arricchito da applicazioni in bronzo dorato, tra cui bocchette, fregi decorativi e sabot delle gambe, che ne esaltano l’eleganza. Le gambe sono alte e mosse, di tipo cabriole, conferendo leggerezza e slancio all’insieme.

Internamente il mobile è dotato di un ripiano centrale, risultando pratico e funzionale per diversi utilizzi.

Description

Elegant antique two-door cabinet crafted in fine wood, richly decorated with floral marquetry, attributable to the Louis XV style, France, late 19th – early 20th century.

The cabinet features a graceful and sinuous silhouette typical of the Rocaille taste, with a bombe front and slightly curved sides. The entire surface is enhanced by refined polychrome floral marquetry set within shaped reserves, executed with remarkable craftsmanship. The top follows the shaped contour of the body and displays a central inlaid motif.

The front doors are adorned with finely detailed floral compositions framed by stylized vegetal patterns. The sides also feature similar inlaid panels, demonstrating high-quality workmanship throughout.

The piece is enriched with gilt bronze mounts, including escutcheons, decorative elements, and sabots on the legs, enhancing its elegance. The legs are slender and cabriole-shaped, adding visual lightness.

Inside, the cabinet includes a central shelf, making it both practical and functional.
