A refined vermilion lacquer natsume (tea caddy) by Suzuki Hyōsaku, accompanied by its original signed wooden box. The softly rounded form is adorned with elegant karamatsu (larch) motifs in delicate gold maki-e, their radiating lines evoking the quiet beauty of late autumn. The warm red ground enhances the brilliance of the gold decoration, while maintaining a restrained and balanced composition. The interior is finished in smooth black lacquer, intended for storing powdered tea in the tea ceremony.
