Exquisite bowl with the Daoguang (道光1821-1850mark).
Qing Dynasty period with a purplish-reddish mainly painted colour and with exquisitely painted openwork floral motifs, featuring rose family flowers on a ruby-red ground enveloping 5 representations of domestic life, beautiful small Chinese "Still Lifes" and Landscapes in delightful frames, demonstrating the superb Imperial craftsmanship with exquisite glazes featuring warm, lustrous pigments similar to jade and agate.
The glaze is warm and lustrous, the painting is exquisite.
Splendid natural patina.
The interior base of the bowl is painted with a extremely rare fine glaze famille rose floral patterns.
The notable DaoGuang Emperor's mark (道光) is produced using the Blue and White (青花 Qinghua) technique.
A true antique and a prized collector's item.
