ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Neptune” captures the raw power and silent authority of the Roman god of the sea, reinterpreted through a contemporary street art aesthetic.

The composition focuses on the intensity of the gaze and the sculptural strength of the face, inspired by classical statuary. The flowing beard and hair evoke movement, as if shaped by currents and winds, reinforcing the connection to the ocean’s untamed energy.

The monochromatic blue palette immerses the viewer in a deep, aquatic atmosphere. It suggests both calm and danger — the duality of the sea itself — while enhancing the emotional depth of the piece. The textured background, created instinctively, adds a sense of depth and vibration, like water in constant motion.

This piece is entirely created using my double-layer stencil technique. Each stencil is digitally designed, then hand-cut with precision before being applied with spray paint and acrylic, ensuring a unique and unrepeatable result.
