賣家描述
Tanqueray Old Tom:
Even now in 2024, you can still find gin lovers trying to scour the internet for a bottle to buy. Many have tried a bit of it at a bar or a generous friend’s home and were looking to secure one for themselves, or were simply trying to replenish their own stash of this limited edition gin. Either way, if you weren’t fast enough to scoop up a bottle or two back in 2014, it’s hard to get a taste of this expression at a reasonable price.
Aroma: Earthy juniper and pine notes with a gentle sweetness of liquorice candy, wheat, and light citrus. Dashes of black pepper and coriander. Taste: The texture is silky, soft and smooth. The piney presence of juniper and eucalyptus is well maintained through the palate, but with an inviting undercurrent of sweet spice and citrus. I get notes of lime candy, liquorice, orris root, and black pepper.
Tanqueray Malacca Original (1997-) and Malacca rerelease (2013-):
The primary difference between the original Tanqueray Malacca (1997) and the re-release (starting in 2013) is their flavor profile and packaging. While both are based on a 1839 recipe by Charles Tanqueray, some connoisseurs and distillers note that the modern version is slightly "thinner" and emphasizes different botanicals compared to the original.
Original: Known for a "juniper bite" balanced with heavy spice and citrus.
Rerelease: Often described as citrus-forward with lemon/grapefruit and lighter spice.
Tanqueray Lovage:
It is a limited edition London Dry Gin with a distinctively savory and herbaceous profile. It is based on a historical recipe from Charles Tanqueray’s 1839 diaries and was developed in collaboration with bartender Jason Crawley. A savory, almost saline explosion of herbs. Alongside juniper, you will notice clear accents of celery, fennel, and lovage. The texture is surprisingly smooth but potent due to the high alcohol content.
IMPORTANT!!!
Shipping information: Please be aware that the shipping of alcohol is only allowed to countries within the European Union. Excluded countries are: England, Ireland, Schotland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland. Please be aware that I will not ship to these countries because of restrictions.
