Set of 5 Villeroy & Boch “Botanica” divided / fondue plates – porcelain, Luxembourg

Charming set of five porcelain plates from the well-known “Botanica” series by Villeroy & Boch. Each plate features a detailed botanical illustration of Ranunculus ficaria (lesser celandine), accompanied by its Latin name, characteristic of this timeless and popular collection.
The plates are designed with multiple compartments (divided plates), often also referred to as fondue plates, making them both decorative and practical for serving different foods.
The underside bears the original Villeroy & Boch mark, including “Botanica” and “Made in Luxembourg”, confirming authenticity and production origin.

Condition:

Good vintage condition overall. A few very small dark spots are visible on some plates, most likely originating from the manufacturing process. On the underside of one plate, there is a small irregularity in the material, also consistent with a production-related flaw rather than later damage (see photo Nr. 12). The surfaces are otherwise well preserved, with no visible scratches, cracks, or chips.
