Served as a judge at the 37th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, continuing to serve thereafter
1997
Received the Tokyo Governor's Award at the 44th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition for his "Iron-Glazed Large Bowl with Bird Design"
2005
Certified as a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Property "Iron-Glazed Pottery"
His "Iron-Glazed Large Vase with Flower and Bird Design" was purchased by the Agency for Cultural Affairs
Received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette
2008
Appointed Chairman of the Ceramics Division of the Japan Kogei Association
2010
Appointed Vice Chairman of the Japan Kogei Association

His works could be found in Shimane Museum of Art, Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum, and other museums
