This is a genuine vintage German decorative tin/pewter relief plate (Zinnteller / Zierteller), designed as a wall hanging. It features a beautifully embossed profile portrait of Anselm Franz von Ingelheim (1634–1695), Prince-Elector and Archbishop of Mainz from 1679 to 1695. The plate was produced for (or by) the historic Weingut Weinkellerei Rebenhof / Reichsgraf von Ingelheim winery in Nackenheim (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany) and includes the family coat of arms. Inscriptions (raised lettering): Upper rim: “REICHSGRAF VON INGELHEIM · NACKENHEIM” Left side: “Ans. Franz von Ingelheim 1679 –” Right side: “Kurfürst u. Erzbischof v. Mainz –1695” Lower rim: “WEINGUT WEINKELLEREI REBENHOF” On the reverse: clear circular stamp “ZIERTELLER – NICHT LEBENSMITTELECHT” (decorative plate, not for food use) with the manufacturer’s mark “TZ” (stylised logo) and a small original hanging loop/eyelet at the top. Material: tin alloy with natural patina. Diameter approx. 11 cm (standard size for these wall plates). Condition: very good – light wear, minor scratches and oxidation typical of age, no dents, cracks or repairs.
