These highly collectible vintage Limoges plates feature beautiful game-birds in vibrant multicolour. The round (each plate measures 22.5 cm in diameter) have a gold plated lining decorative plates make a lovely addition to any collection. Made of high-quality porcelain in Limoges (France), these collector plates depict different gamebirds and are part of the Game Birds of the World production style.
The plates are designed by Basil Ede (12 February 1931—29 September 2016), an English wildlife artist specialising in avian portraiture. He was noted for the ornithological precision of his paintings.
