A diverse and attractive collection of 19 vintage travel thimbles dating from the 1950s to the 1990s.
The lot includes souvenirs from Europe and North America (New York, Chicago, Washington, Montréal, Provence, Galilee, Alpine regions, Spain, Italy), offering a representative overview of mid-20th century tourism memorabilia.
Various techniques are represented:
• cloisonné enamel on brass
• pictorial inserts under resin
• embossed and relief metalwork
• mixed metals (brass, alpacca, anodized aluminum)

• Lanzarote thimble with anthropomorphic relief figures (cast copper)
